September happenings

Hello Fall!!!   I am so excited to start wearing sweaters and boots and feeling completely justified for eating doughnuts everyday.

Here is what September has looked like for us

Our first fall festival of the season.  Look at that gorgeous guy...oh I mean sky :)
I tried my best at hay hopping but those sandals had ZERO traction so taking this picture was as far as I got.

Hanging out at the Tobacco Company on Saturday nights to listen to some of Richmond's finest cover bands

Practicing my blog posing  ....   Which consists of me saying "Nick, hurry take a cute picture of me... make sure you get my shoes!.... hurry!  people are looking at me!"

Eating some southern cuisine in downtown Richmond

Sweet Teas... loved the lemonade

My sweet little niece turned 6!!!  Holy moly where has the time gone.    She is so sweet and has amazing hair!

Meeting Nick for lunch in Richmond on my day off!   I look like a hott mess.   Most people were wearing suits and skirts and I roll up in spandex and a tank top.... CLASSY

Come back tomorrow for Wedding Wednesday!

Wedding Wednesday- Bridesmaids

Since most of my bridesmaids are mom and they range in heights I figured that a skirt and top combo would be safest.  But I have found some adorable dresses so now I am torn! Thank goodness for Pinterest and all of its good ideas, now I just need to decide.

Sequins or lace?  Dress or skirt?

What are your favorites?

Beach bums- Pictures part 1

I didn't want to bombard you with pictures so here are a few to show you a little of our trip to Myrtle Beach.  I had such an amazing week.  Full of restful nights sleeps, a gorgeous tan and lots of time with the fiance.  I could not have asked for more.

This hat makes me feel like a million bucks... and helped to me to not pass out from laying out all day :)

We stopped at a tourist attraction... South of the Border.  I need this hat in my life.

We arrived around 6:30 so we headed off to dinner with Nick's parents on the pier.

We did a little sandcastle building...  I am pretty impressed with it

Dinner at Dead Dog Saloon...

Then I went home to change into some mini golfing clothes... no really I was not about to play mini golf in heels and a dress :)

More pictures to come tomorrow.
